two sets of knives
two sets of pans
two sofas
two tents
we have gathered enough for
two homes
and continue to do so, maintaining
our separate quarters three doors
down
and an eternity away
and the new
we have gathered in two's
like noah, with an ark to save
everything
but ourselves

yeah, but there's only one thing to do for that long on a boat.
but that's the idea. the boat is so full of crap, there's no room left for the people.

You mean to tell us something bad happened to Noah and his wife? What was her name anyway and why does he get all the glory for a creation myth?
I found one site that says her name may have been Naamah.
